I got this LED face mask as a gift for my wife because she's really into skincare and had been talking about trying red light therapy for a while. It arrived well packaged, and first impressions were very good. The mask feels well made rather than cheap or flimsy, and it comes with everything you need, including a remote control, soft eye pads, a charging cable and a handy storage bag.
She's been using it consistently for a couple of months now, sticking to the 10-minute sessions every few days, and she's genuinely enjoying it. She says it's lightweight and comfortable to wear, and once it's on you can simply relax while it does its thing. The soft eye pads make it much more comfortable than we expected, especially if you're just sitting back watching TV or listening to music.
The remote control is simple to use, so changing between the four light therapy modes and the three intensity levels couldn't be easier. The automatic 10-minute timer is a great feature too, as you don't have to keep checking the time,it just switches itself off when the session is finished.
The battery life has also been impressive. The 4000mAh battery lasts for several treatments before it needs charging, which makes it much more convenient than having to plug it in every time you want to use it.
As for the results, neither of us expected an instant transformation, but after using it regularly my wife has definitely noticed that her skin feels smoother and looks brighter. Her complexion seems a little more even, and she says her skin feels fresher after each session. It's one of those products where consistency is important, and the improvements seem to build over time rather than happening overnight.
Overall shes really pleased with this.
Easy to Use and Effective
This mask exceeded my expectations. It's lightweight, comfortable, and the remote makes switching between modes effortless. After regular use, I've noticed my skin feels firmer, and fine lines appear less noticeable. It's become a relaxing part of my evening skincare routine. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve their skin at home.
I was curious to try this LED skin care mask, especially since light treatments have become very popular in home beauty routines. My first impression was a very good one: the mask has a modern and premium design, seems well-made, and comes with useful accessories like a remote control, eye protection, and storage case and an elegant bag.
I like the fact that it offers multiple light modes and intensity levels disposed on various programmes for different targets, which allows me to customize the session according to my preferences. The 10-minute timer is very practical, since I don't have to keep track of the time, and the 4000mAh battery gives me good autonomy between charges.
The mask is simple to use and can be easily integrated into a relaxing moment in the evening or when I'm off from work. One aspect that I appreciated is that, unlike treatments performed in a salon, I can use it in the comfort of my own home, whenever I want.
When it comes to results, it's important to have realistic expectations. This type of device requires consistent use over a longer period of time to see any changes in your skin's appearance, and the experience may vary from person to person. It's not an overnight transformation device, and it doesn't replace a complete skincare routine or dermatologist-recommended treatments. However, I had acne-prone skin before I started using it, and I can see significant improvements after just a few weeks of use on acne treatment mode.
On the downside, even if is not a stiff mask, it may take some time getting used to until you find a comfortable position, especially around nose or eyes. Also, although it's portable, it's not something you'll use while you're out and about, but rather when you're relaxing.
Overall, I think it's an interesting product for people who are passionate about skincare and want to add an extra step to their self-care routine. It has useful features, good battery life, and a premium look for its price range, and with regular use it can become a pleasant pampering experience at home.
Comfortable, easy to use, and a great addition to my skincare routine. My skin feels refreshed and looks more radiant with consistent use. Definitely worth trying.
Maske anlegen, 10 Minuten anwenden, fertig.

I’ve wanted to try a light therapy mask for some time, so was excited to give this a go, and so far I’ve been really impressed.I had been expecting a rigid plastic face mask, but this is actually a rubber-like mask that wraps around your face using the 3 straps provided. This makes it comfy to wear and move around in when on. It also comes with rubber eye slots that you put in, which block the light from your eyes but also make it comfy against your face.My only issue with the shape is that the lip hole is too low for me, but it doesn’t make much difference really. To use it, you just plug the chargeable power pack into it and change the mode to the light you want, the strength to the level you want, and you can even change which area lights up.It does state that it has strong enough lights that it will penetrate the skin (unlike some masks) but it takes 4 weeks to really see any difference, and so far I’m not sure if I can.As far as unbranded masks go though, this does seem to be one of the good ones, and I’ve gotten on really well with it so far. If someone was looking for a place to start with light therapy, I would recommend it.

Now I know this might come off a bit weird to call this at £200 cheap, but I mean so in how much this was when ordering. Due to having a more expensive one. This also looks cheaper in comparison, because you basically wrap this around your face, which is okay if you're not looking to spend the extra or want something with more structure or a hardshell. The silicone material, while soft also means the LEDs may not be at the same distance from your skin depending on your face structure and how tight you strap the unit on. What I do like is the option to pick your eye holes, and keep much of the illumination/light spill my other mask can be prone to, away from the eyes. For a more comfortable experience, or keep the bright LEDs from your eyes. For me, because I'm using the other version more at the moment, I'll probably have to stop that to give this some months to properly have the consistency to see what it can do too. So this is being written with that caveat, that it's mostly an affordable option, if the more expensive versions are not that appealing. I was thinking when I ordered this to use it for light therapy for my muscles after those tougher workouts, but I need to do some research if this could be useful there also, then I could use this for muscle recovery (maybe helping with ATP regeneration) and then continue to use my other LED mask which cannot be wrapped around muscles etc. I like that you can detach the remote (controller) from the LED mask part on this too. Comes really nicely packaged (white sealed box), protected in a brown box. Remember to, when starting Red light therapy, to keep the sessions short, skin clean before and moisture after (maybe before too?), be consistent and don't stack multiple colours in one day; this maximises benefit and minimises possible irritation/sensitivity. Enjoy those 10 k on or so minutes of me time.
I‘d not come across the brand “umitec” before but I‘ve been quite impressed by this particular LED mask.
I’ve used two different LED face masks before so I‘ve got a better idea now of what to look for and what works best for me. It feels risky spending so much money on something like this, especially from an unknown brand, and at £199.99 (at the time of writing) this is not among the lower budget options. I’d expect more wavelength options, greater strength and better quality for this price point, and I think this does provide those things.
The Fit & Wearing The Mask
This has three straps: one for either side and one that goes overhead It‘s a bit of a faff as you need to velcro the two side ones together first, then the big one goes on top of those. That’s a bit trickier to do in practice unless you can attach them together first then try to squeeze it on over your head.
To note, mine arrived with the overhead strap attached to one of the side straps. I stupidly thought I had a side strap missing as a result so make sure you just separate those initially. You could wear it with just the two side straps and skip the overhead one as most masks only use the two. But I‘ve found it hard to get this to fit me either way.
Even with the side straps at their tightest, this is too loose on me and just drops down and off. I can’t use it without the band on top of the head but it‘s still saggy so I’ve tried to improvise to get a tighter fit. Those with smaller heads may have a similar problem and I‘ve had this before with a previous LED mask, though it wasn’t quite as noticeable as this one is. I‘m now using it without the overhead strap and I’ve pulled the side straps beyond their tightest to get a better fit.
I‘ve also found this one really electrifies my hair when I take it off. I think there’s something about the fabric straps that‘s doing it and I’ve not had that with prior masks. It‘s a small issue but a bit odd.
It is at least a little lighter than some hard-shell masks and I don’t have as much pressure on my face and around my eyes as a result. It‘s comfortable enough to wear for the short 10 minute sessions, though it does get quite warm.
The brand includes three soft, flexible eye pad options in small, medium and large size so everyone should be able to find one that fits well. I use the small ones.
What It Offers
There are 492 LEDs in total, which I thought was quite impressive. There are also oodles of settings compared to what some masks offer.
The light mode settings you can choose are : Red light NIR, blue, yellow, mixed. The red with NIR is more for signs of ageing / fine lines and wrinkles, and blue is more for spots. Each session is 10 minutes long.
Interestingly you can choose to target just certain areas of the face. I prefer to do the whole face so I’ve not used other settings but it‘s handy if you only want to treat a small area, or want different light modes to target different areas.
In Use : My Experience
There are ample LEDs on the mask and I was really pleased to see them around the lip area. Some masks, like my last one, don‘t have any between the mouth and nose, which seemed a bit disappointing given how common lip lines can be as we get older, whether you smoke or not. So I’m pleased with the LED amount and their placement to target a greater area of the face, and the cutouts are appropriately placed to allow me to see and breathe, which is pretty important!
I think this must be more powerful than what I’ve used previously as it gets pretty warm! It‘s also brighter and as I’ve said there are more LEDs, hence more warmth. I really like that there are more LEDs and better coverage over the face though.
The brand suggests using this 3 to 5 times a week, I imagine with just a single 10 minute session per use. It can take several weeks or months to start seeing any benefit from an LED mask so patience and perseverance is important. I‘ve tended to use this most days and because it’s decent quality and has more effective wavelength capabilities, I feel more engaged and enthused when it comes to actually using it regularly.
My only real downside with this is the fit. Maybe I‘ve just got a small head. The top strap makes things fiddly and annoying so I’ve done without that, but the side straps at their tightest still leave the mask sagging down for me, and it‘s hard to get the straps tighter given how they’re designed. So I‘d like to see the ability to tighten these further or maybe even a choice of regular or small straps for those of us with petite heads.
Overall
I’m really impressed with this one for the high quality vibe overall and the effective LED offering. I do wish I could get a slightly smaller, better fit and it not electrify my hair, but those are my only real downsides. I‘m otherwise really pleased with this one and intend on using it for the foreseeable future!
I had been dying to try one of these red light therapy masks for ages so when I was offered this thru the Amazon vine programme I jumped at the chance. I have only been using for 3 weeks or so now, after use my skin does feel extremely soft and rejuvenated, I have not really noticed any pore shrinkage or line reduction although can say 100% yet as I think there is some improvement but recommended use for visible results is 8-12 weeks. I will continue using and await improvements, I'm hopeful. The mask and equipment is very well made, the mask itself fits well and comfortable, the straps were a bit fiddle to work out order and which way round the Velcro disk sit to secure it, good size options with the eye shields. So easy to pop on in front of the tv and chill, the timer and settings very helpful. All in all very well thought out, high end product and excellent packaging and beautiful satin storage of travelling bag. Price wise for this kind of product is about right I am very pleased so far
I have used an LED face mask before however it was a basic one whereas this is much more advanced. Inside the box is the face mask, three sizes of eye pads, adjustable straps, remote control, USB cable, bag and user guide. Everything is presented very nicely in a smart box.
The first thing to say is that the mask is really nice. The one that I had used previously was a solid shape and material but this is a silicone one so it can bend and mould to the shape of your face. On the inside are the LED lights and there is a cable already attached that you connect to the remote control when in use.
During my testing of the mask, I tried the three different eye pad sizes to find the one that felt best, cycled through the various light modes and also looked at the zone-specific targeting modes. I did primarily want to use the red-light therapy as this is an area of that I feel that I would like to improve. Cycling through the various light modes as well as the different targeted areas everything functioned really well and was simple to use.
Whilst wearing the mask I found it to be light and comfortable, the remote control is really handy. This mask is a different level to the one that I had previously used and I am really enjoying it. Overall, it is well designed, works great and is a joy to use.
This Umitec LED therapy face mask comes securely boxed with separate sections protecting the mask and its controller. Also included are 3 sets of eye pads S/M/L, a three part adjustable head strap, a storage bag, an instruction booklet and a quick start leaflet. A USB-C cord is also included for charging the controller, and the mask has a permanently attached USB-A cord for plugging into the controller. I compared the light intensities with the minimum recommended intensities and they are all up to minimum requirements.
When I'm unboxing electrical items like this I start with checking I have all of the pieces that should be in the box and then I read the instructions. I guessed the first thing I should do was to charge the controller. However, I've read this booklet and the quick start card several times and charging the controller isn't mentioned anywhere. You take the USB-C cord and separately charge the controller before you try to use the mask. When you plug it in you can see the battery icon is charging and it stops charging at battery full. Then you unplug that charging cable before plugging in the mask.
I cleansed my face before I started treatment then selected the M eye protectors and attached the 3 parts of the head strap to fit me by adjusting the velcro straps. It took a few minutes to make it comfortable around the eyes, nose and mouth. Matching up the eyes and mouth was a slight compromise. However the nose part is still a bit uncomfortable and makes a red mark on the bridge of my nose when I use it. The controls are easy to follow. Long press for on, choose the mode you want and the intensity between 1 and 3. The timer automatically sets for 10 minutes and switches the mask off when it has counted down. I started with red light then switched it to NIR halfway through. I liked the 3 level intensity setting as it was more simple than on another mask I used, and found it easy to switch between modes. I also like the fact that this mask can precisely target specific areas so there is a choice from always treating the whole face. If I get a small breakout of spots on my chin I can just treat that area with blue light.
My redder patches were reduced after treatment and my face was an even colour all over. It also looked plumper after treatment. I'm going to continue weekly and hope that my lines and wrinkles might also reduce.
I'm happy to recommend this LED mask and think that the £199.99 price is reasonable value for money for a mask with these features.

Additional Comments: This LED face mask feels well made and offers a convenient way to incorporate light therapy into an at-home skincare routine. The different light modes and intensity levels allow you to tailor treatments depending on your needs, and the preset timer makes sessions simple and easy to manage.
The mask itself is lightweight enough to wear comfortably for short treatments, with the head and side straps adjustable using the Velcro pads. The included sets of different sized eye pads - Small, Medium and Large, is a great idea, and helps make the experience more comfortable during use. The remote control is straightforward to operate, and the rechargeable battery provides good portability without needing to stay plugged in.
The storage bag is a useful addition for keeping everything protected between uses, and the overall presentation makes it suitable to give as a gift. Results from skincare devices naturally take time and consistent use, so I don’t have any results to share just yet.
I do have a couple of negative points - The main one being that the mouth hole is far too low, and also when I remove the mask, there‘s so much static in my hair; but overall, it is a well-equipped LED therapy mask.
As always, I have added a few photos to this review which provide more information that I hope you find helpful.
*As a member of the Vine Programme, I have been sent this product free of charge, in exchange for my honest review. I only order items that my household will use, with my rating system as follows:
5 Stars - a product that goes above my expectations, with nothing negative to report, and one that I would buy again;
4 stars - a very good product that met my expectations;
3 stars - a product that is fit for purpose, but could be better in some respects;
2 stars - a product that disappointed in a number of ways;
1 star - a product that does not deserve any stars, could actually be faulty or dangerous.
LED Maske Gesicht
I'm really pleased with this. It arrived well-packaged and feels like a proper high-end bit of kit, with a good quality remote with LCD display and a satiny storage bag. The best part for me is the targeted area mode and the different colours for different skin issues and it's much more versatile than others I've seen.
The mask itself is lightweight and moulds to the face easily with the straps, so it's comfortable to wear while you're just chilling out. The controller had a bit of life in it, but I gave it a full charge via the USB-C cable (included) before starting. Just a heads-up: it doesn't come with a wall plug, but I just used my phone charger and it worked fine.
I've used it a few times now and can definitely see a difference, my skin looks brighter and more refreshed. I personally find the Red Light + NIR (near-infrared) as well as the yellow light, the best mode for ageing and soothing.
You can really see and feel the difference between the various facial zones and light modes (I've added some pictures to show the coverage).
It has loads of functions and easily keeps up with the more expensive brands. If you want a reliable LED mask that actually works, this is definitely worth it.
Angenehme Anwendung
